FAQs

Do you require a deposit before starting work?

Yes. For retail (non-insurance) projects, we require a 50% deposit prior to scheduling and starting work. This deposit secures your spot on our schedule and allows us to order materials specifically for your project.

The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work. We provide clear, written agreements so you know exactly what to expect—no hidden fees or surprises.

For insurance-related projects, payment terms may vary depending on your claim, and we will guide you through that process step by step.

How do I know if my roof needs to be replaced instead of repaired?

Several signs indicate a full replacement may be necessary, including widespread shingle damage, curling or missing shingles, frequent leaks, sagging areas, or a roof that’s over 15–20 years old. While some issues can be repaired, we always perform a full inspection to determine the most cost-effective and long-term solution for your home.

Do you offer free roof inspections?

Yes, we provide completely free, no-obligation roof inspections. During the inspection, we assess the condition of your roof, check for storm damage, and provide a detailed explanation of our findings along with recommended next steps.

Do you work with insurance claims?

Absolutely. We specialize in storm damage and insurance restoration. Our team helps document the damage, meets with your insurance adjuster if needed, and ensures all necessary repairs are included in the claim. We aim to make the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

How long does a roof replacement take?

Most residential roof replacements are completed in 1–2 days. Larger or more complex projects may take longer depending on the size of the home, weather conditions, and scope of work.

What types of roofing materials do you install?

We primarily install high-quality asphalt shingles due to their durability and cost-effectiveness, but we can also discuss other material options based on your preferences, budget, and home style.

Will my home be protected during the roofing process?

Yes. We take precautions to protect your property, including covering landscaping, using tarps where necessary, and maintaining a clean job site. We also perform a full cleanup after the project is completed.

Do you offer warranties on your work?

Yes, we provide both manufacturer warranties on materials and workmanship warranties on our labor. This ensures your investment is protected long after the job is completed.

What happens if you find wood damage during the project?

If we discover damaged or rotted decking after removing the old roof, we will notify you immediately. Any necessary repairs will be discussed and approved before proceeding to ensure the structural integrity of your roof.

How much does a new roof cost?

The cost of a new roof varies depending on factors like size, material, and complexity. We provide transparent, detailed estimates after our inspection so you know exactly what to expect—no hidden fees.

Can you help if my roof was damaged in a storm but I’m not sure?

Yes. Many types of storm damage, such as hail or wind damage, are not always visible from the ground. Our inspections are designed to identify these issues and determine if you may qualify for an insurance claim.

What areas do you service?

We proudly serve Chicago, Illinois, and surrounding suburbs. If you’re unsure whether you’re within our service area, feel free to contact us.

Do you handle permits and inspections?

Yes, we take care of all necessary permits and ensure your project meets local building codes and regulations, so you don’t have to worry about the paperwork.

What makes your company different from other roofing contractors?

We focus on quality workmanship, honest communication, and customer satisfaction. Our experience with both insurance claims and retail projects allows us to guide homeowners through any situation while delivering reliable, long-lasting results.

What should I do if my roof is leaking right now?
